Analysis of the Problem-Based Story Model Development with ICT Kahoot and the Effectiveness on Students’ Metacognition Awareness and Science Process Skills

This study aims to develop a problem-based story learning model with ICT using the Kahoot interactive quiz that could increase students' metacognition awareness and science process skills which were determined by validity, practicality, effectiveness of model. research was development (R&D) 4D Thiagarajan through four stages such as define, design, develop, disseminate. The data collection done giving pre-test post-test questions on MAI (Metacognition Awareness Inventory) looking at in average score normalized gain. results showed effective for increasing metacognition, this based N-Gain small group test, large dissemination test an 0.62 medium category, value 0.61 category. also declared “valid” expert validators users supported empirical validation results. practicality implementing PBS had been tested observing teacher's ability classroom learning, responses ease teachers used model, student applied teacher. final result storytelling developed met valid, effective, practical criteria.
